Poyo Girls!

Hey familia, as you may know we're expecting # 3 and... (drum roll)... it will be girl #3 (Ralph we're hot on your heels)! That's right :) We went in for an ultrasound yesterday and learned that, from all indications, we're having another healthy baby girl! Isabella and Gabriela were with us but had as hard a time figuring out what they were looking at (as we did). Fortunately, the doc was able to point out her most important features -- two feet, brain (it appeared highly developed to us), spine and the four chambers of her heart! We also saw her clasp her tiny little hands - so pious at such a young age :) To quote Peter Pan "Heeerrreeee weeeee gooooooo" (again)

Noel and Sonia we are SO excited for you and your beautiful family! Congratulations on your pending addition! Also, in order: Happy belated birthday Gerald! And thanks again for a beautiful evening to Peggy, Serge, and Christopher. We are trudging along here slowly, working hard and not playing hard enough! Jesus is revelling in the Jewish Holidays (as it means the restauraunt he works at is often closed, and he gets to sleep in!) and I am staring down the barrel of a job interview next Friday! We are otherwise fine but miss you all very much!

CALIFORNIA TRIP LOGS A SECOND REUNION

Our trip to California turns into another Reunion opportunity. Meeting Jesus and seeing Chelsea adds another highlight to 2009! We toured LA, Mammoth Mountian, and Yeosemite after attending Peggy's brother Michael's wedding to his new bride Julie. Then Chris, Peggy and I returned to everyday responsibilities.

2009 July Atlanta Reunion brought family from far and wide to celebrate once again. Atlanta, San Antonio, Santo Domingo, Miami.

Others unable to attend this year were in our minds and hearts.

Another Poyo! Due out on February 24th. That's right, we're thrilled to share that we are expecting baby #3! We wish we could have shared the news with you during the reunion, but I wasn't quite ready to tell our girls 'til I got past the first trimester.

Not surprisingly, after having spent so much time with Alexander, Isabella's hoping for a boy "because we don't have one of those." (followed by pout). It will be 7 weeks before we find out the gender and we'll, of course, keep you posted!
